Beach Style: Rare Ocean Glass Jewelry Treasures

Fine Sea Glass Jewelry by A Day at the Beach is handcrafted with genuine sea glass, also known as sea glass and beach glass. Their sea glass is naturally conditioned by the sea after years of tumbling in the waves, rocks and sand. Its beautiful patina simply cannot be replicated by artificial means.

Who is the creative genius behind these stunning jewelry designs? Jane Claire McHenry is a Massachusetts native who spent many childhood summer days at her grandparents’ summer home in Wareham, the gateway to Cape Cod, “The Cape." Jane and her grandmother, Emily, would walk many miles along the beach to the Cape Cod Canal, picking up beach glass along the way and saving it in jars placed on windowsills where the light would reflect its kaleidoscopic hues.
Jane is now a resident of Islamorada in the Florida Keys but also spends summers and holidays in Rhode Island, not far from the place of her childhood memories near The Cape.  What a lovely coastal lifestyle!
