A Spontaneous Oregon Coast Day Trip

Spontaneous trips down the Oregon Coast must be done once in a while, especially when life is a little crazy and you need to get your head back on straight.  Lucky for us, we are only about an hour away!

Liz and I went out on errands last week and ended up being gone overnight -- boy did we have fun! We began in Astoria, Oregon and traveled down to Tillamook and back up again.  We enjoyed lots of great scenery, delicious food and luckily I had my little Cannon camera in my bag with me so that we could share with you.

  3. Looks like fun... and that sandwich with Tillamook!! Love that stuff! My daughter lives in Portland and when I visited last year we took a ride to the coast. So pretty but it was an overcast day as I understand there are a lot of those! Thanks for sharing. xo

  5. I live in Lincoln City, Oregon, and love the Oregon coast. I retired here about a year and a half ago, and love to watch the Ocean and see all of the tourists frolicking on the beach.
