{Coastal Crafts} Ocean-Inspired Easter Eggs

Easter eggs with seashell designs
After searching high and low for Easter decor with a coastal flair we had pretty much given up and then lo and behold, we found that Mary of Boogieboard Cottage had a "light-bulb-over-the-head" idea!

Mary had been holding onto some paper napkins which had seashell patterns on them, just in case she ever wanted to use them for something.  Her brainstorm was to cut out the shapes from the napkins and Modpodge them onto eggs which she had painted from a previous year.

The results are beautiful and we're impressed!

Celebrate Easter with a bit of coastal flair! Seahorses, starfish and seashells decorate Easter eggs at Boogieboard Cottage.

The Seahorses are really cool, don't you think?

This is probably our favorite one ~ love the seashell design!

Aren't they fabulous? Visit Boogieboard Cottage to see all the pics and read about how to complete this Easter project for your beach cottage.  >>Boogieboard Cottage Easter Eggs
