It's almost time for dining rooms to be filled with Holiday family and friends.

If you still need a bit of Holiday inspiration before the guests arrive, then check out these beautiful dining rooms which are set for splendid gatherings.

This chandelier overflows with fresh evergreens and is easily given a soft glow by lighting faux candles. When setting up as a buffet table simply pull the dining chairs away. By using all-white serving platters and dishes you let the food take center stage.

A stunning centerpiece of large silver balls and sprigs of evergreen creates a festive and chic holiday feel. The winter-white formal dining room offers dark glossy floors, warm wood furniture and the natural light streaming throughout the windows offer warmth.

Twinkling stars, icicles hanging from branches, and raindrops frozen in midair -- sounds like a white Christmas, except it’s happening on your dining room table. Cottage Living used nature as their inspiration for this refreshing wintertime scene.

Designer, Alexander Latham, added rustic elements to provide this dining room a modern cottage feel.  Even though most of the furniture is black, the white ceiling and twig chandelier keep the room light & airy. A trestle table and Shaker-style chairs combine with zebra print to create a one-of-a-kind look.

Punctuate a traditional Christmas color scheme with bursts of bright white tulips. Available year-round from the florist or grocery store, tulips are a fresh alternative to other holiday flowers and look great when used en masse.

Looking for some glamour? This glamorous Christmas table setting includes giant "diamond ring" napkin holders, elegant tableware and frosty-looking flowers.  A crystal chandelier and silvery wallpaper are sophisticated counterpoints to room designer, Lindsay Mens, glass dining table and icy blue chairs.

A stunning, vintage-style chandelier resembles icy twigs above a traditional, dark-wood dining table and slip-covered chairs to provide a candy cane inspired setting. Boxwood wreaths adorned chairs;  lilies in ribbon-wrapped vials accent the overhanging table runner and wired boxwood letters dress window.

Coastal Living Magazine suggests..."Lighten the mood in the dining room by skipping the heavy linens. Use chargers instead of place mats or tablecloths, and casually slip napkins through rings. A classic red-and-white color scheme feels casual with beachy accents and scarves thrown over chair backs."

Nate Berkus created a dining room that is elegant and upscale for Holiday dining.  A garland of magnolia leaves decorate the antique sideboard and delicate paper whites, hydrangeas, lilies and berries provide a soft touch of the Holidays to the room.  View More
