A blown-glass Snowman takes center stage on the table this year - he's decked out in his fishing attire and his red & gold plaid coat add charm and whimsy.
Our golden pine cone trees had seen better days! We re-glued on glittery ball ornaments and cones plus decked out the pots with seashell trim and topped each with a glittery shell.
Of course, starfish are tucked in here and there for some much needed beachy flair!
A plaid tablecloth with golden threads coordinates nicely with our Fisherman Snowman plus keeps the feel easy-going.
A crystal bowl is filled with ornaments from my husband's childhood. It's a simple way to get a conversation started and memories shared around the table. (When he saw them on the table he immediately had a huge smile and said, "Geeze, these look just like the ones Mom use to hang on our tree when I was a kid." He continued to share Christmas memories of his childhood which I'd never heard before.)
A colorful Nutcracker holds a votive candle ~ one stands at attention on each end of the table...
|Nutcracker purchased from Costco years ago still find a place on our table each year.|
We'll be making Baked French Toast; Crustless Bacon & Cheese Quiche and some Creamy Hot Cocoa to keep us warm.
